New quality rice cultivars are compatible with Fars climate

He continued: The date of 90% of crop ripening in different parts of the province for Fajr cultivars is September 20 to October 26, Shafaq 25 September to November 2 and Kadous 3 to October 28.
The expert in charge of rice of Fars Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization, while stating the agronomic characteristics of these cultivars, announced the average plant height at the ripening stage of Fajr cultivar as 78 cm, Shafaq 70 cm and Kadous 80 cm and added: Mamasani, Kazerun, Qir, Jahrom and H have good compatibility, but in Sepidan, Firoozabad and Marvdasht counties, Kadous cultivar has had better compatibility so far.
