North Khorasan grape markets were lost outside Iran
The head of the North Khorasan Chamber of Commerce, Industries,
Mines and Agriculture said the province has lost its grape markets abroad.
Mohammad Samadi, pointing out that one of the most important target markets for grapes in this province abroad has been Pakistan, added:
Increasing import tariffs in this country has been one of the reasons for the reluctance of grape importers to that country. On the other hand, Iraq,
Syria and Lebanon have been other countries to which North Khorasan grapes were exported,
but the outbreak of war in the last two or three years has led to the cessation of exports to those countries.
Samadi stated that, of course, North Khorasan grapes were also exported to other neighboring countries, such as Turkmenistan.
He further said about the onion product:
During this year, a good amount of onion product was harvested in the province,
which many farmers have stored in a favorable way due to the reduction in prices.
The official clarified:
Currently, there are good onions in this province that are prone to export,
and the necessary correspondence has been done to announce the readiness of this province
to export this product from the province to the competent authorities so that if there is an applicant,
this product can be exported from the province. Be.
