Onion contains a substance that strengthens bones, so it is useful in children with osteoporosis and the elderly.
Maryam Dehdab, PhD student in Physical Chemistry, Sistan and Baluchestan University, stated: Onions contain vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulfur, folic acid and a small amount of copper, zinc and iron.
He said that onions increase hair growth due to their sulfur content, and because they contain lime, they strengthen teeth and ossify the body. Therefore eating it is recommended in children with osteoporosis and the elderly.
Dehdab pointed out: If you eat outside, use onions with it because there is a substance in onions that can prevent food poisoning from eating leftover meat.
