Payment of 97 billion Rials in support purchase to Kashmar saffron growers
The head of the Kashmar Rural Cooperative Office said: So far, the amount of 97 billion Rials, equivalent to 95%, has been paid for the purchase of support to Kashmar saffron growers.
Javad Ghasemi stated: In 1398, according to the decision of the Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture to support saffron growers and prevent a sharp decline in the price of saffron growers, the rural cooperative of the city purchased a support of saffron in the amount of 1154 kg worth 102 billion rials. 97 billion rials, equivalent to 95%, has been paid to farmers, and only 5%, ie the amount of 5 billion rials, is being pursued for payment.
He stated: The Rural Cooperative Office of the city operates with the mission of guiding and supervising the rural cooperative network, which includes a union and 22 cooperative companies, of which 8 are rural cooperatives, 9 are agricultural cooperatives, and 3 are companies. Rural Production Cooperative is a rural cooperative of Soroush women and a trade union system.
The head of the Kashmar Rural Cooperative Office added: This office aims to provide agricultural and livestock inputs and supportive, agreed and guaranteed purchases of farmers’ products based on instructions issued by the Ministry of Jihad-e-Agriculture and the Rural Cooperative Organization of Iran and provide market, subsidized and livelihood goods. Serves and operates villages in accordance with the statutes of rural cooperatives.
Referring to the activities carried out by the Kashmar Rural Cooperative Network in the past year, he said: In terms of providing technical services and distribution of subsidized inputs to the distribution of 1,862 tons of chemical fertilizers, including nitrogen fertilizers, phosphate fertilizers and potash fertilizers, as well as 217 Tons of bio and organic fertilizers, weekly distribution of 1,500 kilos of wheat, barley, cotton and corn fodder seeds by rural companies and production and distribution of 20,334 tons of livestock inputs including concentrate, bran, soybeans, barley, etc. Agricultural companies have taken action.
Ghasemi added: in addition to the distribution of 4,860 tons of bakery flour and rural home flour by rural companies, the distribution of fuel including 12 million and 471 thousand liters of kerosene, gasoline and diesel by rural companies and the distribution of 143 tons of market regulation goods including oil, Sugar, rice, onions, dates, sugar and frozen meat by rural companies and production and agriculture and the purchase of 5198 tons including milk, poultry and barley products by agricultural companies during this period has been done by Kashmar Rural Cooperative Network.
He referred to the insurance of villagers and nomads by rural production cooperatives for 2,605 households, to the recruitment and issuance of licenses by the trade union system this year and said: in a recent year, 200 people have been recruited and 266 licenses have been issued and 333 licenses have been renewed and the total number of union members so far is 2,843.
The head of the Kashmar Rural Cooperative Office stated: The most important project that can be inaugurated in 1399 is the development, equipping and standardization of the fuel distribution station of Amirkabir Rural Cooperative Company.
He described the inauguration of the project as the city of Ryoush and said: The facilities of this project are 10 fuel distribution nozzles, including 7 gasoline nozzles and 3 diesel nozzles, Kahab project (saving gasoline vapors), new buildings and facilities, and upgrading the station. It is 2000 square meters and will provide services by distributing 22,000 liters of gasoline and diesel daily. The cost of this project is 8 billion rials.
In the end, Ghasemi mentioned other ongoing projects of rural cooperatives in case of financing, construction of Amirkabir Rural Cooperative Company cold storage, follow-up of Khayam Company’s dry processing and packaging industry workshop, as well as creation of agricultural products loading unit of Kashmar Rural Cooperative Union.
