Peanut harvest in 250 hectares of Minoodasht city
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Minoodasht city said: the operation of harvesting peanuts in 250 hectares of lands of this city has started from the beginning of October and will continue until the end of October.
Issa Ghorbani added: Peanut planting in this city is when the minimum soil temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius, but the best time to start is between 25-22 degrees Celsius, which is about April 15.
He continued: The cultivated cultivars are mostly nuts and the amount of seeds per hectare is about 100 kg, which in the row cultivation method on the ridge, the distance between the rows is 40-55 cm and the distance between the plants on the ridges is 10-20 cm.
The victim reminded: in the planting phase, while fighting against pests and diseases, 1-2 weeding or soiling of the plants and 2-3 irrigation phases are done according to the weather conditions.
He stressed that the amount of production varies between 3-5 tons per hectare: while planting peanuts is the best crop rotation to strengthen the soil.
