Mehdi Sabbagh said: The threshold is the center of peanut production in the country and this year, due to the fruitful blooms of orchards, it is predicted that this year we will have a productive year ahead.
He added: Almond growers are currently weeding garden weeds, and evidence shows that more crops will be harvested this year than last year.
Sabbagh continued: There was no flooding and drought in the peanut orchards and this has made Astana almond growers happy.

He pointed out that some imported or smuggled almonds from Iraq and Turkey will be sold in Astana in the beginning of the autumn season under the name of Astana almonds. He continued: The appearance of foreign almonds may reach the level of Astana almonds and even better, but The unique taste of Astana almonds can be felt only from the peanut orchards of this city.
