Pistachio harvest from 5000 hectares of pistachio orchards in Zarandieh city
With the presence of the governor, the representative of the people of Saveh and Zarandieh in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the governors and a group of managers of the executive organs of the province, pistachio harvesting began from 5,100 hectares of orchards of this crop in Zarandieh city.
Abdullah Sohrabi, the central governor, referring to the high quality of pistachios produced in this region, said: Pistachios produced by farmers in this region are highly desirable due to not using chemical fertilizers and using modern technology, and this advantage makes it more exportable. He expressed hope that with the opening of the airport and the start of international flights in it and the construction of the pistachio export terminal in the province, the ground will be prepared for the prosperity of the export of this product.
The central governor also visited the pistachio nurseries of the city by planting the first pistachio seedlings in the 120-hectare fields of Musayabad named Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah with the intention of the Supreme Leader, President and to commemorate the memory of Martyr Mahmoud Saremi, Martyr Chamran, Martyr Hemmat, Martyr Seyyed Ahmad Kazemi, Professor of Accounting and Kazemi Ashtiani planted pistachio seedlings in this area. It is worth mentioning that more than 98% of the province’s pistachio fields are located in Zarandieh city.
