Predict a 70% reduction in date harvest

Ali Drijani stated: The date harvest started from 5,270 hectares of Fahraj groves.
He stated: 40,000 tons of dates are produced annually in Fahraj city, which due to the unprecedented heat, the continuation of monsoon winds and the fall of dates and the withering and drying complication, it is predicted that the date yield of Fahraj farmers will decrease by 70%.
He stated: It is predicted that 15,000 tons of dates that can be offered to the market in Fahraj city will be harvested this year.
Fahraj city is one of the centers of Mazafati date production in Kerman province and the country and for several years now, farmers in this region have been facing the problem of drying of date clusters and every year many damages are caused to the agricultural sector of this city.
