Soleimani, director of Jihad Keshavarzi in Ferdows city, said: It is predicted that about 150 tons of mint will be harvested from the farms of this city this year.

He added: This year, about 7 hectares of Ferdows farms have been dedicated to planting mint.

Soleimani stated: Last year, the area under mint cultivation in Ferdows was about 5 hectares.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Ferdows city stated: Last year, the amount of mint production in this city was about 120 tons.

He specified: This crop is planted every year in February and early March in Ferdows.

Soleimani stated: The harvest of this crop in Ferdows will start in early June and will continue until early November.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Ferdows city stated that 30% of this product is consumed inside the city, and said: 70% of the mint produced in Ferdows will be sent to Gonabad city.

He continued: in addition to fresh consumption, mint sweat and dried mint are the products of this product.
