Unfortunately, the statistics show that the yield of hazelnuts per unit area is lower than the global yield, and this is not satisfactory. Hazelnut is struggling with many structural and technical problems such as labor, capital, machinery, conversion industries, knowledge, research station, etc.
Hoshyarfard said: the lack of a union of hazelnut growers, proper warehouses and product processing units and centers has made the sale of the product mandatory at the time of harvest and bulk exit, and thus has added value to this valuable product to traders and traders. In a situation where extension centers are looking for research findings to increase the yield of hazelnuts per unit area, unfortunately, we must say that the link between researchers and hazelnut growers and gardeners is not so strong and the need for reflection and applied research is felt more.
He continued: increasing the role and participation of private and non-governmental sectors, developing and strengthening provincial, national and transnational communication networks between scientific and educational centers, researchers and technology development companies and domestic and foreign innovation, and expanding cooperation at the governmental level and Public institutions can be useful in boosting the production and increasing the productivity of hazelnuts.

Hoshyarfard added: Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization can help hazelnut farmers in the correct and timely implementation of garden operations such as irrigation, pruning, feeding gardens, etc. by providing cheap technical and credit facilities and holding training courses.
This university lecturer stated: Development and implementation of a comprehensive hazelnut plan in cooperation with the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture, Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade and the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran to improve the quantitative and qualitative performance of hazelnuts with the aim of investing in improving and developing hazelnut orchards. The commissioning of recording and drying terminals and hazelnut ancillary industries should be carried out as soon as possible as a coordinated national program.
