Production forecast of more than 9000 tons of green tea leaves in Tonekabon

He continued: Tea harvest in Tonekabon city has started on May 27 and will continue until early October.

The director of Tonekabon Agricultural Jihad reminded: Our forecast for the production of green tea leaves in this city this year is 9,500 tons.

Referring to the activities of 7 tea factories in Tonekabon, Ojani added: out of 8 factories, 7 factories are active in this city and the delivered tea is first class.

He said that the timely payment of the demands of tea growers is one of their most important demands, adding that last year, facilities for improving and reviving orchards were provided to tea growers and citrus gardeners.
