The director of Rudsar Agricultural Jihad pointed out: The hazelnut harvest begins every year in the mountainous areas of Eshkorat Rudsar from the first half of August and ends in the second half of October.
Mushtaq stated that the area under hazelnut cultivation in Rudsar is 12,700 hectares and stated: About eight thousand farmers are active in hazelnut production.
He specified: Rudsar city is the first in the province and the country in terms of the area under cultivation and production of hazelnuts.
