Pishdad added that many plans have been made for the development of the agricultural sector in the province: the provincial officials have a special view on this sector and efforts are being made to develop this sector as much as possible according to the capacities and capabilities of the province.
He added: According to the facilities available to the Agricultural Jihad Organization in the province, various plans for the development of the agricultural sector are on the agenda.
He mentioned the plan of cooperation with Icarda as one of the important programs of agricultural jihad in the province and added: in the country, four provinces are selected and work as pilots in this regard, and last year Kurdistan province was recognized as the top province in this field. .

Pishdad said: Last year, about 15,000 hectares of dry lands in the province were covered by this project, which in the discussion of Qorveh wheat has allocated more than 3,000 hectares of this amount.
He added: According to the plans made this year, more than 26,000 hectares in the province will be covered by this project.
Deputy of Resource Management Development of Kurdistan Jihad Agricultural Organization pointed to pressurized irrigation and the situation of Qorveh province and city in this regard and acknowledged: more than 51 thousand hectares of the province’s lands are covered by pressurized irrigation plan and new irrigations.
According to Pishdad, the level of mechanization lands in the province is more than 3%, which is a favorable situation compared to the national average.
He noted: Free credits will be provided to farmers in this regard and we have no restrictions on the payment of facilities.

According to him, 2,812 projects in the province with a cost of 333 billion tomans and employment of 5,313 people have been introduced to the banks so far. Among the operating banks of Keshavarzi Bank, it has done very well in discussing the payment of these facilities, which is commendable. Is.

He described grape orchards in the country as about 310,000 hectares and said: 233,000 hectares are irrigated and 82 hectares are rainfed, of which 3.4 tenths of a million tons of grape are produced from this amount of land.
According to him, 3 million of this amount is related to rainfed orchards and 300 thousand tons of this amount is related to rainfed orchards and Kurdistan province is ranked 15th in grape production in the country and is ranked second in terms of rainfed orchards .
He described the province’s grape orchards as 14,000 hectares with a production of 100,000 tons and said: Qorveh grape orchards are one thousand hectares and our forecast is to produce 8,000 tons of grape and in total it has 8% of the province’s grape production.
