Production of 175 thousand tons of dates from 6 million palms in Bushehr

The director general of Jihad Keshavarzi of Bushehr province pointed out: this year, in order to supply water to farmers, we will use all available power and capacity and we expect the province’s water joint stock company to make efforts in this direction.
Monfared stated: Supporting the influential group of farmers and producers in this field is an important thing that should be considered and emphasized, and nothing should be done in this direction.
He said: Dashtestan palm growers with their valuable products need more support to buy products and we use all available facilities to satisfy palm growers.
Director General of Jihad Keshavarzi of Bushehr province, stating that 175 thousand tons of dates are produced from 6 million palms in Bushehr province, said: On average, 30 kg of produce is produced from each palm, but some palms have produced about 100 kg.
Monfared added: According to the statistics available in the current situation, there are more than 6 million palms in 40,000 hectares of palm trees in Bushehr province, where various quantities of dates, khark and rotab are produced and marketed.
