Production of 1800 meters of carpets and tableau carpets in Pakdasht

The CEO of Aras Carpet Company said: “This cooperative has about 6,000 members and 5,800 of them are women and women heads of households, of which 2,000 are insured.”
Parviz Norouzi added: “This small cooperative, with its long steps, which was established in 2003, has been able to export its products to Germany and Turkey since 2006.”
Other services of this cooperative include specialized trainings in carpet design, carpet weaving, kilim weaving, preparation of raw materials, purchase and sale of insurance carpets and granting facilities.
A teacher from Aras Carpet School said: “It has been about 8 years since he was able to train 2,000 carpet weavers and carpet weavers.”
Ms. Bakhshi added: “This cooperative teaches free carpet weaving and carpet painting lessons to students during the ten-day course.”
