Alireza Basiri, director of Jihad Keshavarzi in Neyriz, referring to the harvest of rain-fed grapes from 1,300 hectares of vineyards in Neyriz, said: It is expected that more than 2,000 tons of grapes will be harvested from Neyriz orchards this year.

He pointed out that the predominant grape cultivar of the city is local and rainfed, and specified: the harvesting operation of this product has started from the end of September and will continue until mid-October.

Alireza Basiri continued: The main area of Neyriz grapes in the central part and the city of Meshkan is Poshtkuh, most of which is consumed in the form of grape juice and the rest is eaten fresh and raisins.
