Production of 30 tons of handicrafts in North Khorasan

The Deputy of Handicrafts of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of North Khorasan announced the production of 30 tons of handicrafts in this province.
Mohammad Reza Ghahremanian said: during the first three months of this year, compared to the same period last year, the production of handicrafts in the province was reduced by 30% due to the spread of Corona virus, but in the second quarter of the year, production increased again.
He further announced the establishment of three fixed handicraft markets in this province and stated: these markets will be set up in three points of the province, two points in Bojnourd city and one point in Farooj.
Ghahramanian added: These bazaars will be set up at the entrances of cities in order to buy passengers passing through the province’s industries and also to increase their durability.
He continued by stating that there is a place inside Bojnourd for the production and sale of handicrafts: 90% of travelers who enter North Khorasan are transit travelers and do not go inside the cities and only about 10% of it They go into the city and do shopping, so a place had to be set up at the entrance of the cities to supply the province’s handicrafts to travelers.
According to the official in charge, the number of stalls set up in the two bazaars of Bojnourd is eight and in Farooj there are three stalls.
He mentioned the number of active handicrafts in this province as 63.
