Mohammad Ismail Shafiei stated in the meeting of managers and executive officials of Abpakhsh: the existing capacities and infrastructures in each region are considered as factors of its development and progress and should be considered in a fundamental way.

He added: Irrigation is one of the most important hubs of Bushehr province in the field of agriculture and date production and has a high share of the province’s agricultural production and in recent years we are witnessing a growing trend of agriculture in this region.

The head of Abpakhsh Agricultural Jihad pointed out: Improving the agricultural situation and the growth of agricultural indicators is one of the most important issues that the officials of Abpakhsh Agricultural Jihad have paid serious attention to in order to improve the quality of agricultural products and increase the level of production.

Shafiei stated: Dates are the most important agricultural production in Abpakhsh region and according to the statistics available in recent years, the palm trees in Abpakhsh region account for 35% of the dates produced in Bushehr province and 50% of the dates produced in Dashtestan.

Referring to the production of Abpakhsh dates this year, he added: This year, we have witnessed the production of nearly 45,000 tons of dates in the Abpakhsh region, which has been harvested from date palms in the form of Khark, dates and rotb.
