Production of 60% of Hamedan grapes in Malayer
The special governor of Malayer and the deputy governor of Hamedan stressed the need to strengthen the economic organizations of this city.
Hassan Kherianpour in the third conference honoring the exemplary exporters of the city said:
Strengthening the economic organizations of the city in order to discuss economic development and along
with the measures taken for this purpose in Malayer is very important.
He described the establishment of Malayer customs, the existence of a railway,
the four-laning of Malayer roads and the creation of a special economic zone for dried fruits
in the city as an effective step towards economic development.
Kherianpour, referring to the export of $ 34 million from Malayer Customs in the first eight months of this year, stated:
The net weight of this export was 15,000 tons with a value of 41 billion Rials.
Regarding Malayer’s various capacities, he said that the city has special conditions in terms of industry and agriculture, adding:
Malayer grape, raisin and dried fruit production has a special place in the province, as this city produces 60% of grapes in Hamadan province.
The deputy governor of Hamedan continued:
in the discussion of national production and support of Iranian labor and capital,
we seriously pursued the development plan of the agricultural sector and so far more than eight billion tomans of agricultural development facilities
have been paid to the applicants.
Referring to the existence of seven towns and industrial zones in Malayer, he said:
the construction of four very large industrial units in the city is underway,
each of which is considered as one of the major industries in Hamadan province.
The special governor of Malayer named the province’s Ferrosilis factory with an annual production of 12,000 tons and an investment
of 30 billion Tomans in Malayer glass town, the Baftsan factory with an investment of 70 billion Tomans and a production
of 380,000 tons per year and Malayer Petrochemical as these projects.
He specified:
The construction operation of Malayer Petrochemical with 195 billion Tomans of investment and employment of 475 people was directly followed.
Referring to the importance of private sector investment in the implementation of economic projects, Kherianpour said:
In order to attract investors in order to develop the city as much as possible,
we need agreement and empathy between government agencies and the private sector.
He reminded:
Malayer city now has a special position in the south of the province,
which has been achieved in the shadow of the interaction of the city complex with each other and movement in all dimensions and areas.
