The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Ardabil Province announced the production of the best organic hazelnuts in the world in the Ardabil Hazelnut Forest.

Karim Hajizadeh in a joint meeting with the Vice President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, stating that the creation of new spaces for tourism development is on the agenda of cultural heritage, said: With these measures we seek to distribute tourism in Ardabil province.

He considered the ecotourism and tourism industry as one of the ways to develop the economy of Ardabil province and added: In this regard, very significant measures have been taken and we expect to see the prosperity of Ardabil tourism sector with the full support of provincial officials.

Hajizadeh stated that from the past until now, this province has been known as a summer tourism city, and specified: However, Ardabil has all the necessary capacities to become a tourism in all seasons, which unfortunately has been neglected.

The director general of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism of Ardabil province added: Ardabil province has winter and alpine capacity in natural conditions, which can be used in the field of winter tourism, especially winter sports.

He emphasized that the capacities of the tourism sector of Ardabil province have been identified by elite engineers and consultants, and emphasized: a pre-assessment plan for private sector investment in the field of tourism is being developed.

Hajizadeh pointed out: The old 16-kilometer route from Ardabil to Sarein, with its mountainous landscapes and open space, is one of the beautiful tourist routes in the province that we are trying to revive.
