The carpet expert of the Khuzestan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said: Considering the holding of training courses last year, which led to employment in the handmade carpet sector, this year the production of handmade carpets has flourished significantly.
Majid Ramezanian stated: By holding these courses, carpet weaving materials and tools were provided to carpet weavers, and as a result, with the employment of people in the field of carpet production, this industry became more active in the province.
He added: Facilities have been considered for the producers of handmade carpets, which will be provided to them as soon as the interest rate on bank facilities is determined.
Ramezanian said: Last year, carpet production went through many ups and downs, but this year, fortunately, it is in good condition.
