Prosperity returns to Lahijan tea market
The Deputy Minister of Marketing and Market Regulation of the Tea Organization of the country said: the boom has returned to the Lahijan tea market and compared to previous years, the production of quality tea has increased.
Goodarz Khordadpour said: factories, syndicates and other related sectors in the second half of the year are trying to sell the produced tea to see a boom in production.
He added: Domestic buyers and foreign representatives can go to the factories to buy the Iranian tea they need.
Announcing that the tea produced in the country is free of chemical toxins, the Deputy Minister of Marketing and Market Regulation of the Tea Organization of the country noted: The boom has returned to the Lahijan tea market and compared to previous years, the production of quality tea has increased.
Khordadpour also said: We try to encourage people to consume this domestic product of Iranian tea.
Annually, we need 110,000 tons of dry tea, of which 25,000 tons are produced domestically and the rest through imports, and this year, with the increase in production, it is predicted that 120,000 tons of green tea leaves will be harvested.
