According to him, in 1389 to 1391, respectively, 425 to 593 million dollars of handmade carpets were exported from the country.

He added: Iranian handmade carpets have an important position in markets such as Germany, USA, UAE, Italy and Japan, and recently Qatar has been added to the list of important buyers of Iranian handmade carpets.
