Quchan and Kashmir raisins are more exported
Arzani said: There are different types of raisins in the province that Quchan and Kashmar raisins have a high potential for export.
Arzani said that the low price of raisins compared to the cost price: low yields of seedlings,
pesticides and fertilizers, incorrect irrigation methods, increase in field prices,
use of traditional methods and lack of water have increased the cost price of raisins.
He added:
Iran’s agricultural system is smallholder and the farmer does not have the power to compete and become industrialized,
so it needs the entry and support of the government.
Arzani said:
Attention to nuts is very low in the country and this issue is not given importance because the government seeks to support large industries,
while the production of juice and grape juice and other grape products has a high potential for profitability and job creation.
