INGREDIENTS :
Main materials:
- Flour = 1 kg
- Eggs = 1 pcs
- Salt = the tip of a teaspoon
- Liquid oil = 2-3 glasses
- Turmeric = 1 teaspoon
- Yeast powder = 3 tablespoons
- Milk or yogurt = 1.5 glasses
Ingredients inside the dough:
- Flour = 1 cup
- Chopped walnuts = 1/2 cup
- Sugar = 1 cup
- Cardamom and cinnamon = 1 teaspoon
INSTRUCTION :
First, pour the flour, turmeric and salt into a large bowl, mix it well with the flour, beat it in the middle of the flour, add the eggs, oil, and milk, and add the sourdough powder and mix gently.
While stirring, add some flour from the side to the middle liquid and knead. If the amount of flour was low, add flour again so that the dough does not stick to the hands. Put some sprinkled flour on the dough in the kitchen space and let it stand for an hour.
During this time, we make the middle of the fatir, we pour the flour in a pan, we fry it on gas. When the raw smell of flour is removed, we add turmeric and cardamom. When we fry it, we turn off the flame, add the sugar and mix it.
When the dough comes out and doubles in size, knead it again a bit and take the size of a tangerine out of the dough, roll it in the middle and add a spoonful of the middle ingredients.
Then, gather it on the side like a bundle and flatten the flour sprinkled on the table with the palm of your hand. Draw on it, hit it with a fork a few times. In the bowl, beat an egg and a spoonful of sugar with a fork. Brush some of this liquid. Put it on the pan, then put it in the middle of the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes and cook.
Prepare all the dough in this way first and put it all in the oven together. With this amount of ingredients, 12pcs of fatir is made.
