Reducing walnut harvest from Ilam orchards

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Ilam city announced the beginning of walnut harvest from the gardens of Ilam city.

Engineer Gholamabbas Sohrabondi, stating that the walnut harvest has started from the gardens of Ilam city, stated: Walnut trees constitute 420 hectares out of 1,212 hectares of gardens in Ilam.

He added: Considering the 40% frost damage to these trees, it is predicted that 504 tons of walnut products will be produced and sent to the province market.
