Reduction of acid raisin production in Khorramdareh
The head of the Khorramdareh agricultural jihad announced a reduction in the production of acidic raisins in the city.
Alireza Asadollahi, stating that this year 2640 hectares of land in the city was dedicated to grape cultivation, said:
One third of the grapes produced is allocated to the production of acid raisins.
He stated that an average of 6,000 tons of acidic raisins are produced in Khorramdareh every year, adding:
Due to the problems created for farmers this year, including the late spring cold and hail at the end of this year,
3.5 to 4,000 tons of acid were produced in the region. Compared to last year, we faced a decrease in the production of this product.
The official stated that no order has been announced for the guaranteed purchase of sour raisins by the government this year, adding:
Despite not announcing the guaranteed purchase, the purchase and sale of this product will take place in the market, although its speed is slow.
He stated that this product is currently being bought and sold in the market at a price of 3500 Tomans, and specified:
the city has announced its readiness to buy acid, which will be acted upon as soon as the order is announced.
