Registration of Kashan Fin Mint as the best type of this plant in Iran

Kashan Finn Mint was registered as the best type in the iran in terms of aroma, taste and properties compared to mint in other parts of the iran.

The head of Kashan Jihad Agricultural Department said: Kashan fin mint has better characteristics in terms of aroma, taste and properties, compared to mint in other parts of the iran.
Majid Kafizadeh added that 150 hectares of agricultural lands in Fin, Hassanabad and Ravand regions of this city are dedicated to mint cultivation, of which 7,000 tons are harvested annually and 110 billion Rials are earned by farmers in the region.
The head of Kashan Jihad Agriculture Department, referring to the climatic situation and the existence of suitable soil for the growth of this medicinal plant in Kashan, added: more than 15,000 tons of peppermint juice and its essential oil are extracted in this region annually.
Kafizadeh said: from each ton of mint harvested from Kashan farms, five kilograms of essential oil is obtained, while this figure is three kilograms in other areas under mint cultivation.
