The head of the cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism agency of Sarayan city said: by holding a jajim weaving training course in cooperation with the international carbon sequestration project, 9 people interested in traditional arts received the required training.
Mohammad Arab added: Craftsmen and artists in this field, if they continue this art as a job and receive a license for a home or production workshop, depending on the amount and type of their activity, they can benefit from facilities with 4% interest, handicraft jobs insurance and Benefit from various exhibitions.
He said: To promote and revive handicrafts and help the family economy, we are looking for education and promotion of disciplines that are not foreign to the culture of the region and are economically viable, and jajim weaving is one of these disciplines.
The head of the cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism agency of Sarayan city said: considering the use and prevalence of jajim weaving based on the type of its use among the people of South Khorasan and also the narrations quoted, the history of this art in this province is not clear.
