The head of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad Organization announced the harvest of rice in more than 98.5% of the province’s paddy fields.

Delavar Haidarpour stated: So far, rice has been harvested in more than 207 thousand hectares of paddy fields in Mazandaran, of which more than 160 thousand hectares have been allocated to local rice cultivars and more than 46 thousand 815 hectares to high-yield rice cultivars.

He pointed out that more than 81% of the total harvested areas (168,650 hectares) have been mechanized and using a special combine for rice or harvester, he added: the level of raton cultivation in the province this year is more than 58 1,847 hectares and replanting is 22,147 hectares.

Haidarpour pointed out: the operation of cultivating rice fields to determine the yield and estimate the amount of production, especially in the eastern cities of the province is underway.

He stated: The agreed purchase price of Mazandaran rice includes Tarom Hashemi 61 thousand Rials per kilogram, local Tarom rice at 59 thousand Rials, Caspian and Fajr 35 thousand and 500 Rials, Shiroodi and Keshvari 34 thousand Rials, Neda and Nemat 28 It is one thousand and 500 Rials.
