He called on the paddy farmers upstream of the province to have better management in water consumption so that the downstream paddy fields do not face any problems.

Regarding the paddy fields where rice was not grown this year, he said that the existence of this type of paddy field is spotty because due to the more reasonable price of rice, most of the paddy fields where rice was not grown in previous years are dedicated to rice cultivation this year. But there are still profiteers who want to get a change of use permit in the province by not cultivating rice in the paddy fields in the coming years, which we are dealing with.
The head of the Gilan Agricultural Jihad Organization, referring to the harvest and supply of strawberries and green tomatoes in the cities of Gilan, said: This year, the production of these products has increased compared to last year.
Shabannejad added: the amount of this increase is being investigated and will be announced soon.
He announced the harvest of various crops from Rudbar paddy fields as a second crop and said: This year, Rudbar wheat is in a very good condition.
The head of the Gilan Agricultural Jihad Organization stated that 800 to one million tons of wheat is often harvested from farms per hectare, noting that this year it has been reported that some Rudbar wheat farms have produced 3 to 4 tons of wheat per hectare.
