Rice work in Fars without worrying about the future!
The Director General of Fars Environmental Protection said: Despite all the warnings, we are still witnessing rice cultivation in Fars Province, without worrying about the future!
Hamzeh Valavi, on the sidelines of the Bonab Forest Clearance Program, while appreciating the NGOs and their cooperation in protecting the environmental areas, said: One of the environmental problems is the water crisis.
He explained: One of the reasons for water shortage is the inappropriate use of lands for the production of agricultural products such as rice and various water products.
Referring to the drying up of many wetlands, lakes and rivers in Fars province, Volvi said: We developed one-dimensional development in agriculture and we wanted to be first in the production of agricultural products, but we were not last in the environment!
The Director General of Environmental Protection of Fars also stressed the need to strengthen the yellow deer site in Arsanjan, and announced the existence of Iranian rams, ewes and yellow deer in this site.
People should know that if there is a problem in nature, they are the main culprits because they have not observed what they have to do in the face of nature, he said, referring to the implementation of deforestation programs as an effective step in creating a culture of environmental protection.
In this program, Abbas Amiri and Reza Ghaderi were honored as selected journalists and photographers of Fars environment.
