Sale of 3 billion Rials in Kerman handicrafts in the world carpet city
The Deputy Head of Handicrafts of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kerman Province announced the sale of 3 billion Rials of handicrafts in the first exhibition of the capabilities of Kerman Province in Tabriz.
Kazem Hosseinzadeh mentioned the active participation of artists and craftsmen in the first exhibition of Kerman’s capabilities in Tabriz at the International Exhibition Center of this city, and stated: In this exhibition, handicraft products such as South Kerman mat, precious and semi-precious stones The prices of Shahr Babak, Shiriki Glim Pich Sirjan and Pete Kerman, Rafsanjan, Zarand and Jiroft had the highest sales.
He said that 8 booths with an area of 160 square meters were allocated to artists and craftsmen of Kerman province in the mentioned exhibition, adding: the purpose of participating in this exhibition is to introduce the capabilities of handicrafts of this province, especially Sirjan (world city of kilim) to the people. It was the city of Tabriz (the world city of carpets) that did well.
Hosseinzadeh stated: Embroidery, mat weaving, precious and semi-precious stone carving, forty pieces of embroidery, fabric printing, kilim weaving, pet embroidery, etc. were among the artistic disciplines that were exhibited in this exhibition.
The Deputy Head of Handicrafts of Kerman Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department emphasized on holding more national exhibitions in different provinces of Iran and said: holding such exhibitions in addition to introducing and marketing handicraft products to more interaction of artists and Craftsmen help.
Hosseinzadeh pointed to the presence of investors in the field of handicrafts in national exhibitions and noted: in addition to holding handicrafts exhibitions, the presence of investors in this field should be provided so that they can get acquainted with the handicraft products of each province and the sales market. Things get more prosperous.
