He said: Currently, 130 sturgeon farms are active in 21 provinces of the country, which should reach 100 tons of caviar and 10,000 tons of sturgeon meat per year by the end of the Sixth Development Plan.

Abdul Hai added: Last year, about 2 tons of caviar worth approximately $ 3 million were exported abroad.

Pourmidani, director general of the province’s agricultural jihad, referring to the province’s adequate capacity for sturgeon farming, said: Last year, more than 150 kilograms of caviar were produced and exported in the province.

Ayatollah Saeedi, the head of the Ahl-e-Bayt Crimean Threshold, in the ceremony of exploiting this plan, mentioned the implementation of public benefit programs and in line with the country’s economic progress as one of the plans of this threshold.
