Shiraz plum kofta recipe in Iran

INGREDIENTS :
- Low fat low salt yogurt = 500 grams
- Soft butter = 50 grams
- Eggs = 2 pcs
- Flour = 200 grams
- Ground wheat = 80 grams
- Salt = as needed
- Plum = 24 pcs
- Sugar = 24 pcs
For poppy butter:
- Butter = 100 grams
- Sugar = 4 tablespoons
- Poppy = 40 grams
INSTRUCTION :
In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil with a little salt, divide the dough into 4 equal parts, cut each part into 3 cm cylindrical pieces on a floured board and divide each into 6 parts. So that in the end 24 meatballs are obtained. Gently roll each piece of dough around the plums with flour rolls.
Put the balls (meatballs) in boiling water. It is best to immerse the bullets in water in two stages. The balls should not be overcooked.
When they float on the water, lower the gas flame and let it cook for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, caramelize the butter and sugar in a small skillet, add the poppy seeds, remove the meatballs from the pot with a spatula and place on a plate.
Advice:
Instead of poppies, you can use breadcrumbs or a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
