Strengthen walnut processing industries in Tuyserkan
The governor of Tuyserkan city said: the conversion industries related to the multi-purpose walnut product should be strengthened in this city.
Mehrdad Mousavi added: Currently, the valuable product of walnut is only taken out of Tuyserkan gardens in raw form and is offered to other parts of the country.
He said: Despite its profitability for large gardeners, the sale of walnut crude has added value and little profitability for the general public in the walnut capital of Iran.
Mousavi stated: The creation and expansion of conversion industries related to walnuts and processing of this product can lead to several times added value for the city.
According to him, traders and producers and producers of walnut products in Tuyserkan should also move towards organizing the packaging of this product.
Mousavi informed about the lack of significant welcome in the packaging sector and the side stages of supplying walnuts in the market by the citizens of Tuyserkan and added: now the necessary facilities are granted to economically justified projects in this field.
He stressed: Investors in the field of agriculture in Tuyserkan, in addition to increasing their profitability, should create more employment and expand the production of walnut products so that job creation in this field is more colorful than before.
Tuyserkan, as the walnut capital of Iran, has the highest quality walnut product in terms of quality, which is world-famous, and Hamedan province has the highest area of walnut cultivation after Kerman province.
