The British Ambassador to Iran described tea as one of the common points of Gilan and Britain and noted: The United Kingdom is very active in the field of new energy and wind turbines and we declare our readiness to cooperate in this field.
In a meeting with the governor of Gilan, Nicholas Hapton, expressing his satisfaction with the trip to Gilan, said: I was honored to attend the inauguration ceremony of Dr. Rouhani.
The British ambassador to Iran added: The presence of a British delegation to attend the inauguration and inauguration of the president shows the progress in relations between the two countries and the full support of Britain for the implementation of the UN Security Council.
He expressed his desire to travel to all provinces of the country, meet with the government of men and expand relations with them and noted: I am interested in increasing the level of relations with Britain wherever possible in Iran and that I am in Rasht today. I am very happy.

Hapton thanked the governor of Gilan for explaining investment opportunities in the province and said: Many British companies want to return to the Iranian market after the agreement of Borjam, and in this regard, Gilan is one of the priority places for these companies.
Pointing out that I am interested in becoming more familiar with Gilan’s capabilities, he said: I hope to increase the level of exchanges with this province in the areas of interest announced by Gilan by expanding negotiations.
The British ambassador to Iran said: This meeting could be the beginning of a new era for the expansion of trade and economic relations.
He added: Fortunately, this meeting took place when the new government has started its work and is interacting with the world.
