Mohammad Maliki considered the most harvested dates of this city to be related to the villages of Dehsalam and Bandan and stated: ‌ In Nehbandan city, different cultivars of dates are cultivated, the most important of which are Khosh Khosh, Parkuh, Mazafati and Kabbab.

The director of Nehbandan Agricultural Jihad acknowledged: the area of ​​date palm cultivation is 358 hectares, of which 238 hectares are fertile and 120 hectares are infertile.

Al-Maliki considered dates as one of the advantageous products of this region and specified: 326 families are exploiting date products in this city.

He stated that 2,900 kilos of dates will be harvested from each hectare of date cultivation farms.: He said: It is predicted that more than 650 tons of dates will be harvested from these farms this year.

The director of Nehbandan Agricultural Jihad pointed out that the area under date cultivation in Nehbandan increased to 35 hectares compared to last year, noting that the harvest of this crop begins in early September and continues until mid-October.
