The head of Lorestan Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization, stating that one of the flagship products of Lorestan province is Poldakhtar black fig, added: more than 13,000 tons of black figs are produced annually in Poldakhtar city.
Referring to the existence of 800 hectares of orchards in Poldakhtar city, he said: If the complementary and conversion industries flourish in this city and three phases of its executive operation are put into operation, it is predicted that the area of Poldakhtar fig orchards will be expanded to five hectares. .
Taheri Moghaddam said: Poldakhtar city needs employment and these industries can be one of the centers for creating sustainable jobs in this city.
The head of Lorestan Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization, stating that the bank that builds this factory is Keshavarzi Bank, continued: In this regard, 1 billion and 413 million Tomans from the technical and technical assistance of Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization and 222 million Tomans will be the applicant’s share for building this factory.
Taheri Moghaddam continued: with the operation of the first phase of this processing factory, three products of syrup, jam and fig marmalade will enter the market.
He said that with the operation of the next phases of this factory, 6 types of fig products will be processed, adding: the construction of a fig processing factory has started by the efforts of local and non-native joint investors.
The head of the Lorestan Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization continued: These investors will set up this factory in Poldakhtar city with more than 13 billion Rials in subsidized facilities.
He stated that the processing capacity of the first phase of the fig processing factory is more than five thousand tons and added: with the launch of this industrial unit, 32 people will be employed.
The head of Lorestan Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization, noting that this product can be turned into syrup and dried product, said: the production of products such as jam, syrup, marmalade, dried figs and fig chocolate is on the agenda of this factory.
Taheri Moghaddam reminded: this factory will be built on a land with an area of more than five thousand square meters in Poldakhtar city.
He added: The establishment of this factory will increase the added value of this product and as a result the development of new orchards and subsequently will create sustainable employment and stabilization of seasonal jobs in the agricultural sector.
