The first mechanized rice harvest in Fereydunkenar
Deputy Minister of Crop Production Improvement of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad said: The first mechanized harvest of rice in the country will take place tomorrow, July 10, in Fereydunkenar.
Azizullah Shahidifar stated: The first harvest of mechanized rice cultivation will be done on Thursday, July 10, 1993 in Zahedkola village of Fereydunkenar city.
He continued: Mechanized harvest is harvested on 2.5 hectares with Tarom cultivar.
Shahidifar, stating that the area of ??mechanized rice cultivation in Fereydunkenar is 200 hectares, said: the area under rice paddy cultivation in this city is 6534 hectares.
Deputy of Crop Production Improvement of Mazandaran Agricultural Jihad, stating that the whole area of ??rice cultivation in Fereydunkenar city is local cultivars, said: Fereydunkenar with a yield of 5.5 tons per hectare has the highest yield of local cultivars in the province.
He added: It is predicted that 36 thousand and 500 tons of paddy will be harvested from the paddy lands of Fereydunkenar city this year.
Shahidifar said: 100% of rice operations in Fereydunkenar city are mechanized.
