Abdullah Ahrari, a member of the Iranian Carpet Scientific Association, stated: Razoojrgolan city is one of the subordinate cities of North Khorasan province. North Khorasan province is also known as the land of cultures and tribes because it is inhabited by a combination of different ethnic groups including Persians, Turks, Kurds, Lors, Turkmens and other ethnic groups living in Iran.
He said: In fact, North Khorasan province is the cradle of all kinds of handicrafts and one of the places that has the maximum potential to promote handicrafts is the Raz and Jorglan region of this province. The area is inhabited by Kurds and Turkmen, with Kurds living in the Raz section and Turkmen in the Jirgalan section.
A member of the Iranian Carpet Scientific Association pointed out: Jorglan region has a significant number of villages that are close to each other and the best and most quality Turkmen handicrafts in the whole world belong to this region and Dovidokh village has the best handicrafts at the end of Jirgalan route.
