The largest Iranian handwoven carpet in Sheikh Zayed Mosque
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the third largest mosque in the world, built in 12 years at a cost of more than half a billion dollars.
The mosque, which has a capacity of 40,000 people, also has the largest handmade carpet in the world. The carpet is woven in Iran with an area of 5630 square meters.
