The need to use modern science to grow grapes
The representative of the people of Malayer in the House of Nation said: in order to cultivate grapes in the country as much as possible and better, modern sciences related to this issue should be used.
Ahmad Ariainejad stated in the first meeting of the scientific committee of the Grape and Raisin Research Institute of Malayer University: Grapes have a significant share in the province’s horticultural products and the goal cannot be achieved by any means to produce this product.
He stated: The production bed of this product should be the religion of Islam and grapes should be produced and consumed only in a halal way.
Ariainejad also stressed the need to address the challenges facing the grape industry, saying: This should be considered in this research institute due to the special capacity and potential of Malayer in the production of grapes and raisins in the country.
He said that hygienic packaging, product processing, pest and damage removal are among the ways to increase the added value of grapes and raisins.
The representative of the people of Malayer in the Islamic Consultative Assembly pointed out: Inviting gardeners and farmers to the meetings of this scientific committee should be considered so that they can also use the results of research in this research institute.
He continued: in order to make the work tangible, the researchers of this research institute should cultivate a few vines in the city so that by providing the necessary training, the farmers will be persuaded to use scientific methods.
Referring to the water shortage crisis in Malayer, Ariainejad said: In this situation, the crisis should be taken seriously and the agricultural jihad should warn farmers to use pressurized irrigation.
