The governor of Gilan said: Gilan will be one of the top provinces in the field of carpet weaving in the next three years.

Dr. Mohammad Ali Najafi said today in a meeting of handmade carpets in Gilan, which was held in his office: Carpets add to the beauty and economy of Gilan.

He stated that with 5 million Tomans of capital, a job can be created in the carpet weaving sector for one person, while to create a person in the industrial sector of the province, the amount of capital needed for each person is 100 million Tomans. Gilan technical and professional facilities can help those interested in working in this field in order to teach carpet weaving.

Dr. Najafi continued: The art of the managers of the province should be in the direction of developing employment so that Gilan province gets out of the bad situation of unemployment.

He called on the banks to cooperate more to develop the province’s carpet industry, and to put the province’s managers at the forefront of creating jobs for young people.

Najafi stressed: We create security for the banks and we expect the banks to create job security for the people by helping job seekers and providing facilities to people.

He added: One of the important problems in the province is that the right methods have not been used to develop employment in the province.

Najafi added: Gilan Governor’s Office has determined its support along with Gilan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, as well as the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and the General Directorate of Technical and Vocational Weavers of the province.
