The director of Boshrouyeh Agricultural Jihad stated: It is predicted that about 280 tons of cumin worth about 15 billion and 400 million Tomans will be harvested from Boshrouyeh farms this year, including the price of 55 to 60 thousand Tomans per kilogram.

He specified: Cumin is one of the low-water crops, so that from the time of planting to harvest, four irrigation circuits are done, while in rainy years, it does not need irrigation.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi Boshrouyeh added: Cumin crop is resistant to the hot and dry climate of the region due to its low water requirement, and in this respect it has good economic benefits, and its cultivation is recommended before weaving crops.

Sarchahi reminded: Cumin has properties such as analgesic, bloating, bacteria and cancer and anesthetic, the product of which is harvested in mid-June in South Khorasan.
