There is no problem with handicrafts and the culture and art hidden in it
Aziz Gassili, a member of the Industrial Design Committee of the Academy of Arts, spoke at the meeting about integrated planning and management in the country’s handicrafts. He first pointed out that criticism is common in the society as an epidemic, and said about the solutions to the problems of handicrafts: Handicrafts and the culture and art hidden in it, there is no problem.
The problem is a certain mentality or stratum that is involved with handicrafts. The culture of no nation or race is ever destroyed and only forms change, and these forms are created by different spectrums in different eras. In fact, handicrafts are more powerful than these words that I and others like me can create problems for.
But there is also the point that some groups consider this art as a market for making money, and as a result, one has to talk about the original industries with their own position. Gassili added: I am sure that the handicrafts organization and its trustees cannot be without a plan; But they face difficulties in implementing their plans.
Programs should focus on the table. This table consists of three important and basic sections; One is to identify and determine the capacity and diversity of handicrafts, the other is to review and identify the managements and problems of handicrafts, and finally to review and identify the benefits. Explaining this issue, he said: Strategic plan is one of the most important issues that should be a clear basis for a comprehensive plan for handicrafts.
This plan includes a mission description and analysis of the current situation, which after a series of operations, operational plans and a 5-year plan will be formed and will be provided with an annual budget. Of course, this is a program that the United Nations proposes at various times to support the handicrafts of most countries.
Instead of focusing on quality management, it is better to work on quality managers, Gassili said, referring to the biggest problem of handicrafts in the production and sales phase. Also, industrial and graphic design should not enter the production process at some point in the production of handicrafts.
Workshops that serve handicrafts in terms of design (in the sense of designing the factory environment) require coordination between industrial engineers and handicraft designers. In other words, on all the equipment used by handicraft artists, new operations and innovations on the equipment should be considered by the designers in coordination with the industrial designers.
In the end, he emphasized the problems in marketing handicrafts and said: This problem has been ignored and if the existing codified programs are used, many problems will be solved.
