An expert in ornamental and medicinal plants stated: Thyme is useful in eliminating intestinal parasites.
Hassan Azarun Jafarabad said: Thyme is one of the most well-known medicinal plants, which is an herbaceous and aromatic plant and is considered as a mint genus.
He pointed out: This plant is branched and has thin leaves. It has umbel white flowers and is used in spices and pickles.
He continued: Mohammad Zakaria Razi believes that thyme is useful in the treatment of bloating, increases body temperature and digestion in the stomach and is widely used in food industry.
About the healing properties of this plant, he continued: Thyme is effective in treating cough, indigestion, colds and flu and eliminating intestinal parasites, and also has antibacterial and antifungal properties.
The expert continued: its brewed use is useful for patients with muscle pain and rheumatism. How to use: Brew one to 4 grams of dry powder in a glass of boiling water and sweeten the solution for 20 minutes after straining and use it 3 times a day.
He pointed out: Eating this plant should not be overdone because due to having albumin, it increases urination.
The expert also added: Thyme sweat has a warm nature and is effective for strengthening the body, stomach and eyesight.
