Mohammad Wali Roozbehan said: Tea can be considered in two areas, one in the economy of the province and the region and the second in the economy of the country. In the economy of Gilan and Mazandaran provinces, tea is a main pillar of employment, income and wealth creation, because in the years when tea is booming, the market of Gilan and Mazandaran is more prosperous. And we predict that it will reach about 15 billion tomans, it has had a psychological impact on the people, because the tea growers have not received a loan as an agricultural loan for more than 10 years, and it has caused prosperity to return to the orchards.
He added: This trend has reached a state of decline from equilibrium, and for the first time this year, we have about 2,000 hectares of abandoned orchards from previous years, which have been pruned and rehabilitated again, and we announced that we will lend to these orchards as well. Having been out of production for the past few years, they are hoping to resume production.

He added: Exported tea is mainly sold in sacks and bags, but some export teas are organic and are exported under their own brand, and since not even one gram of poison is used to produce this product in Iranian tea gardens, part of Iranian product is exported.
Roozbehan said: Iranian tea is exported from the prices of less than one dollar to one million tomans per kilogram. The most expensive price of this product is white tea or unopened tea, which is exported to Asian countries such as Arab countries at a price of about one million tomans per kilogram. . Of course, the price of white tea in the domestic market is offered with a lower price and of course a different quality.
