Woodturning from Kermanshah handicrafts
Heidari, deputy director of handicrafts of traditional arts and tourism in Kermanshah province in Iran, said: Wood has been found in abundance in most provinces of Iran for a long time. Fortunately, this industry has existed and Kermanshah province is no exception. At present, we have about 10 people in the province. They operate in the Paveh and Oramanat districts.
Ashkan Moradi is an artist from Kermanshah, and although he is not very old and it has not been long since he started his career, his interest and talent have led him to turn to this art, and he has been doing so for two years.
Woodturning is one of the arts that is created by cutting and shaping wood by rotating the machine, he says of Woodturning’s work.
Ashkan Moradi loves his job and says that Woodturning is an art, and in the end, its simplicity only requires one machine, and it needs a few restraints, which are tools.
With this tool, they make bowls, toys, candies and many other things.
