Jajim

Jajim is one of the textiles called Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad which is woven by rural women and nomads. The jajim are woven into strips by wool and then horizontally attached to the desired size. The color of the Jajim is usually light and the pattern used in Jajim is clay, stripes, rhombus, zigzag and so on. Jajim used to be a blanket, a mattress and a chair, but now the use of jajim has become less practical and has become more decorative. Another thing to note is that Jajim is very similar to the glim but they differ in thickness and the glim can only be used as a substrate because of its roughness.
